Russia simplifies visa procedures |
On June 7, 2012 the Russian government is going to consider a proposal to simplify visa procedures for foreign citizens.
The new bill draft that is going to be discussed by the cabinet council implies the simplification of Visa Application Process for foreigners. Though, Russia does not consider Visa Cancellation.
The new federal law bill draft is worked out to change the Article 25 “The Immigration regulations”. It implies the simplification of visa procedures regarding the paperwork and makes it easier for foreign citizens, who cross the Russian border.
It will be recalled that, the Russian government got a lot of complaints and requests from travel agencies and foreign diplomats asking to simplify the visa system. According to the public inquiry, the most popular reason that prevents people from visiting Russia is visa application process.
