Ladies, I have not been here long, but certain things have become apparent and I try to be open and transparent so that there is no confusion nor embarrassment on either side. What you see, is what there is with me. I see no point in creating a fantasy, when we meet , your imagination will have created someone who I am not ..but I want this to be based on truth, not lies, and I hope to receive the same from you.
I have no problem at all that the lady contacts me first, I am rather flattered by it actually, and be assured, I read every mail I receive.

There are many many very beautiful younger and older ladies on this and other sites, but physical beauty is not enough for a real relationship, you may know that Ukrainian ladies have a poor reputation in the west , beautiful but not sincere, dangerous, devious, yes, sorry, but this is so, and western men are seen as rich, foolish and gullible. Many of us are, but I am not one of these. I seek a very special relationship, not easily found, and endless correspondence is not for me. I expect a meeting within a short time to not waste time, yours nor mine. If I do not respond to your letters, please accept my apologies, you may see it as rejection and this is never pleasant, I know from personal experience, but it is not intended to hurt anyone, it is just impractical to respond to every letter, and I make mistakes, a short letter is insufficient to make a committed choice, but this is the nature of the beast and it is an imperfect system. I am considered by others to be an English Gent, relaxed, dont take myself too seriously, confident, sensitive, active, healthy,enjoy all sorts of activities and experiences, I ride Motorbikes and Horses, sail Boats of all kinds, like fast cars, travel, theatre, reading, skiing, open to new experiences, I am divorced many years, I have two adult independent daughters one living in UK the other in Nederland. I am cultured, well-traveled, well-educated, respectful, polite, a strong character, decisive, but not aggressive nor arrogant. I hate injustice and will try to protect weak or injured people and animals. If I decide a situation is untenable, I will swallow my pride and pain and will simply walk away and move on with my life. I do not enjoy silly games with emotions and sentiment, neither yours, nor mine. I am direct but try to do this with humour, with no intention to hurt, insult, or criticize . I am very physical and enjoy physical attention, holding hands, stroking, arm around shoulders or waist, kissing in romantic moments even in public , I give a lot of attention to my partner, but expect and enjoy the same or more in return. I am not a jealous person, If we adore one another, then we have eyes only for each other. If you find someone else more attractive, and I become aware, even though my heart is breaking, I will walk away and keep my dignity. I will never humiliate or disrespect you .. I discuss all decisions which affect our lives with my partner to make a joint decision. If we cannot reach a compromise, then I decide with a full explanation what I think is best for our family, and take the responsibility.

I loved my parents, they were not perfect, but they loved me; they have passed, but I enjoy a close relationship with my daughters and other family even though some of us live in different Countries.
I prefer a lady who can communicate to some degree in one of the languages I speak, it is difficult to be open and charming or humorous through an interpreter, and communication and the avoidance of misunderstandings is essential in a close and serious relationship. I am serious, and request only serious and genuine responses please.
