Well, i'm 45 and have been working around the world for the last 25 years as a commercial diver and oilfield manager. I live in Dubai, have a house in the UK but spend most of my time off in Koh Samui where i intend to end up. I work away a lot at the moment, with a goal to retire fairly early, but really enjoy my work. I like good food and wine. Relaxing at a beach/pool and diving, walking, chilling. Want to meet/talk with people to find out what's possible. Have a load of good friends and am very relaxed with my lifestyle, personality and friendships. I am reasonably outgoing and can be very active socially. However, my preferred night would be, dinner out with good wine, walk down the beach (with a doobie) back home, film and sofa. Sounds a bit to 'girly' but have done my massive party days. I think i'm quite funny (well, i look funny anyway) and am very confident in most situations. Not bothered (although it would be nice) to meet someone just for relationships, but looking to make new friends that might turn into something more. I work all over Africa, Middle East, Far East and Med so can sometimes travel to meet people in those areas. Anyway, before i have second thoughts about how knobby this whole thing is, i'll post and see what happens. Karma. Think i have been as honest as i can be in a written missive. Speak soon. Or not.
